The EMU Faculty of Architecture Department of Interior Architecture Traditional Certificate Ceremony Held with the Theme of Achievement and Solidarity
The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture organized the Fall Semester 2024–2025 Academic Year Honor–High Honor Certificate Ceremony. The event, held under the theme of “Pink Color,” was organized to reward students who demonstrated outstanding success throughout the academic term and to strengthen the spirit of solidarity within the department.
The event was planned and conducted by EMU Department of Interior Architecture faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zehra Öngül and Assist. Prof. Dr. Seyit Ermiyagil. The dedicated contributions of the department’s research assistants—Erbay Binboğa, Erna Audrey Mangaleu Toukam, Ekin Türkü Gür, Şule Akkuyu, and Uğur Atar—were widely appreciated.
Delivering the opening speech, EMU Department of Interior Architecture Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afet Çeliker Coşkun emphasized the importance of not only students’ academic achievements but also their personal development processes, underlining the significance of the work carried out in line with the department’s vision and mission.
Subsequently, EMU Faculty of Architecture Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Asu Tozan highlighted the university’s academic and cultural heritage, pointing to the importance of collective success and solidarity.
EMU Department of Architecture Chair Prof. Dr. Rafooneh Mokhtarshahi expressed her pleasure in attending the event and stated that they would continue to support the department’s students at all times.
As part of the program, a musical performance by EMU Music Teaching Department students Güray Gürbüz and Mehmet Reşat Ekti offered enjoyable moments to the participants.
The ceremony concluded with a group photo session.
