The 14th Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition was held at EMU.

The 14th Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition, traditionally organized annually by the EMU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture, and the EMU Social and Cultural Activities Directorate’s Design Club, was held this year on Sunday, October 13, 2024, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM at the EMU Beach Facilities. University students participated in groups and completed their artworks in designated sections.

The event was attended by EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç, EMU Faculty of Architecture Dean Prof. Dr. Resmiye Alpar Atun, EMU Faculty of Architecture Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Asu Tozan, EMU Interior Architecture Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afet Coşkun, faculty members of the Faculty of Architecture, students, and numerous students from other universities and high schools in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
