Dear Students and Prospective Students,

At the Department of Interior Architecture at Eastern Mediterranean University, we believe that design has the power to shape not only spaces, but also the ways people live, experience, and connect with their environments.

Since its establishment, our department has developed into a well-established and internationally recognized academic community. With our qualified and dynamic academic staff, internationally accredited programs, and respected professional memberships, we are committed to providing a high-quality and forward-looking education in interior architecture.

Our educational philosophy is deeply rooted in the cultural heritage, climatic characteristics, and historical richness of the region in which we are located. By integrating this unique context into our design education, we aim to cultivate designers who are able to interpret place, culture, and identity through creative and critical thinking. At the same time, our flexible educational models and diverse extracurricular activities enable our students to grow not only academically but also professionally and personally.

In today's rapidly evolving knowledge society, digital transformation continues to reshape the field of design. By closely following emerging technologies and integrating them into our curriculum, we strive to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and adaptability required in the contemporary design world. Our foremost aim is to educate future interior architects who can understand user needs, thoughtfully evaluate lifestyles and spatial quality, and develop strong competencies in ergonomics, material knowledge, and structural awareness.
