Department of Interior Architecture has been a pioneering department in its geography since its establishment. In addition to a strong and dynamic academic staff, having international accreditation and membership is one of our most important strengths as a department. Incorporating the advantages of our geographical location in our education in terms of culture, climate and historical environment, being able to adapt quickly to different education models, supporting our education with our extra-curricular activities are the aspects we care about as the Department of Interior Architecture.
We are in a rapidly changing and updated information age in a globalizing world. Access to information is also provided on digital platforms and through different media. At this point, one of our biggest goals is to educate well-equipped students to keep up with the era by following computer technologies in a continuous updating mood. While we believe in innovations, contemporary and current technological tools, at the same time, protecting our historical and cultural values, respecting nature and the environment, being aware of the time we live in economically, socially and culturally by following current world events are the characteristics we want our students to adopt.
It is our greatest desire that young candidates who will start their career as interior architects show themselves in professional life by putting the world, nature, ecology, sustainability and people at the center. Our students, who graduated with the knowledge of key elements such as user needs, lifestyles, quality of life, ergonomics, and structural awareness, make us proud in different countries of the world.
